Notes: self-promo post with all my yoi fics so far!
so cool to find a yoi comm on dreamwidth! i'm a fic writer with two WIPs currently posting, and a few other fics beside, so i thought i'd get it out of the way and promo them all at once. i have a masterlist on my journal which contains more detailed information on all my fics. (yes, i'm that person who loves lowercase and song lyric titles.) here, though, i'm going to spruik my two WIPs.
[T, 10k, 2/12] it's the side effects that save us: a what-if/role reversal/canon divergence/all of the above fic, which started as my desire to write a role reversal fic that didn't involve an age swap, and spiralled out of control into some sort of mirrorverse monster. we start with yuuri narrowly beating viktor at the sochi grand prix to win gold, and follow the season from there, featuring copious amounts of vicchan to make up for an otherwise cruel plot change, smitten viktor, and ambiguously flirty yuuri. future side-stories from other characters' POVs ("side side effects") to be added to a series; updates once a week on mondays.
[T, 7k, 1/6] do something pretty (while you can): a clueless au, set in a fictional small town america performing arts high school. follows the (mis)adventures of viktor as he navigates life and love and everything in between, while trying (and failing) to do some good for the people around him. set in 2003, each chapter comes with a period-accurate playlist. as i've just started posting this, i haven't set an update schedule yet, but the whole thing is written and beta'd so really it's good to go whenever.
